Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize plant-wide electrical and automation systems on high-speed production lines. You will lead troubleshooting, train Electro-Mechanics across shifts, and manage maintenance for PLCs, drives, and networks.

The role requires a high school diploma with extensive controls experience; familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls equipment.
• Train Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and equipment.
• Support plant utility systems (steam, HVAC, refrigeration, etc.).
