Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ, is hiring a Controls Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation, and process-control systems on high-speed food production lines. The role includes training Electro-Mechanics and providing technical leadership across shifts.
The candidate will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and documentation; requires a high school diploma and extensive industrial
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and maintenance manuals.
- Experience with PLCs, drives, and industrial networking.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis across shifts.
- Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics on all shifts.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Document equipment and control system configurations.
