Job summary

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace in Livonia is seeking a Pastry Associate to join our bakery team. The role involves decorating pastries, assisting customers, and maintaining displays in our new location.

Candidates should be able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends, and have reliable transportation. High school diploma is preferred but not required; store policies and safety guidelines will be followed daily.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role in bakery environment.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8+ hours.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work early mornings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Observe company policies and store rules.
• Decorate pastries, cakes, and baked goods per recipes and guidelines.
• Assist customers with bakery pastry needs.
• Operate necessary equipment safely and per policy.
• Stock, display, and rotate bakery products.
• Notify management of safety or equipment issues.
• Handle damaged or spoiled products per guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
