Sam's West, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Bakery/Packager Associate to prepare fresh baked items, follow recipes, wrap, label and store merchandise, and assist members with bakery orders.

The position is on-site with hourly pay from $18.00 to $26.00 plus potential premiums; benefits include health coverage, 401(k), PTO

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborates with bakery team to meet daily production needs and support members.
• Be an Expert: prepares bakery merchandise based on production needs, follows recipes, wraps, labels and stores items, ensures food safety and inventory control.
• Be a Techie: uses handheld devices to drive decisions related to production and ordering.
• Be an Owner: maintains a clean work area, ensures quality and date control, reduces waste, and assists members with purchases.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: models high quality service and product standards while engaging with members.
• Complies with policies and uses Open Door Policy in daily tasks.
• Completes assignments by coordinating with managers, coworkers and customers; communicates progress and adapts to change.
