Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a Bakery/Packager team member to prepare fresh baked items daily by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise for members.

The role requires multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and a focus on member satisfaction. You will work with a large team to ensure items are produced, packed and presented accurately, while assisting members with their bakery orders and maintaining a clean area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Prepares bakery department merchandise by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise; ensures food safety and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: Uses handheld technology to drive decisions on production, merchandise ordering and product quality with the member in mind.
• Be an Owner: Maintains a clean, organized work area; ensures quality control and proper packaging and labeling of items; assists members with purchases.
