Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is hiring an Operator 3, Bakery-Oven for the 3rd shift at our Van Nuys, CA bakery. You’ll coordinate Proof Box and Oven operations to meet precise bake specifications, color, texture, and quality.

Lead Bakers at each workstation, set process controls, and work with the Rheon Line Operator to resolve quality and equipment issues. Maintain a clean, safe, food‑safe environment and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced bakery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months of bakery/production experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Follow procedures, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Proof Box and Oven operations to meet product specs.
• Monitor dough units for size, texture, color and volume.
• Set baking parameters: oven zones, humidity, belt speeds.
• Direct Bakers and ensure safe tools handling.
• Collaborate with Rheon Line Operator to resolve issues.
• Maintain ovens, proof box, conveyors and work areas clean and safe.
• Support continuous improvement and food-safety standards.
