A growing bakery in Williamsville is looking for an experienced Bakery Operations Manager to take a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building teams, developing employees, and being involved in the day-to-day operation of a busy bakery. The Operations Manager will oversee a team of approximately 30-40 employees, with responsibility for hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and maintaining high standards for quality, service, and productivity.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 30-40 bakery and café employees.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
• Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
• Schedule employees and ensure appropriate staffing levels for daily operations.
• Coach and develop employees while addressing performance concerns as needed.
• Oversee day-to-day bakery operations and help ensure production and service run smoothly.
• Maintain high standards for product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and customer service.
• Work closely with ownership/leadership to improve processes and overall operations.
• Step in and assist with baking or cake decorating as needed during busy periods or staffing shortages.
• Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, employee performance, and the customer experience.
• Support the growth and development of a newer operation as it establishes itself in the local market.
