Job summary

Personnel Resources, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Leader to guide and develop the bakery team, ensuring a welcoming guest experience and efficient daily operations.

You will manage open/close procedures, cash handling, scheduling, and order fulfillment, while driving sales and profitability. The role requires 1–3 years of leadership in foodservice or retail, strong customer service, and a proven ability to hire, train, and develop staff.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; college education is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, foodservice, or a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to hire, train, coach, and develop a team.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable managing schedules, inventory, costs, sales goals, and basic financial information.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; willingness to learn new technology.
  • Food safety certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee cake production, special orders, deliveries, inventory, and supply ordering.
  • Set sales and productivity goals and adjust staffing based on business needs.
  • Manage labor, inventory, supplies, and other expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain brand, product quality, merchandising, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
  • Complete payroll, reporting, inventory, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Build community relationships and represent the brand at local events and partnerships.
  • Step into all bakery roles as needed to support the team and business.

Availability

Starting salary is $52,000 with opportunities for bonuses and advancement!
