Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Associate to support decorating, customer engagement, and daily bakery operations at the Ridge Road location. You will decorate cakes, monitor product freshness, and assist with merchandising and inventory control to meet sales goals.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to standardized recipes and logs for production. Training and growth opportunities exist within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in business or food service-related field desirable.
• Minimum 2 years’ management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.
• Previous decorating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer focused behavior with associates.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and resolves issues promptly in a polite manner.
• Oversees department inventories, schedules associates, and supports bakery operations.
• Assists Bakery Manager in day-to-day functions and covers responsibilities in their absence.
• Ensures products are fresh, properly priced, and rotated according to policy.
