The Fresh Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the bakery team, manage department inventory, ensure pricing integrity, and oversee daily operations with a focus on accuracy and excellence.

You will direct staff, maintain rotation standards, and deliver exceptional guest service while driving results in a fast-paced environment. The role requires focus, efficiency, and a passion for superior quality baked goods.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, baking, or culinary fields.
• Ability to read planograms and layouts for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with service in a friendly, accurate, and timely manner.
• Make recommendations and accommodate guest requests.
• Manage order guides, deadlines, and reduce shrink/damage.
• Receive and stock goods following rotation standards when replenishing.
• Slice and prepare a variety of breads, pastries, and convenient meal solutions.
• Direct teams to receive/stock and merchandise per company standards.
• Train team members on-the-job and via internal training platforms.
