Job summary

85C Bakery Cafe is seeking a store manager in Centennial, CO to drive business performance, profitability, and customer service excellence. You will lead shift operations, supervise staff, and ensure quality, hygiene, and safety across the store.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take essential responsibility for the business performance of their respective stores.
• Ensure sales profitability through service excellence and lean operation.
• Prepare periodic reports, including sales control, employee scheduling, etc.
• Organize and supervise employee shifts.
• Participate in management and personnel meetings.
• Check stock levels and order supplies and materials.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety.
• Training will take place in the Los Angeles area for approximately 6‑8 weeks; travel, board, and transportation will be provided.
• Additional duties at store when circumstances dictate.
• Store associates will be expected to cross‑train in each department including Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years progressive experience in fast food or other related food operations, at a leadership level position.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines to meet new or changing demands.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Good attendance and availability to work overtime when needed.
• Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts.
• Adapt and demonstrate thorough understanding of the 85°C concept.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

This position requires moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. It also requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
