Job summary

Aspire Bakeries Cayce bakery is hiring a Maintenance PM Tech for 1st shift on weekends. You will maintain and repair production and facility systems to maximize uptime and safety, performing preventive maintenance, overhauls, and diagnostics across bakery operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience or 6 years without diploma, with expertise in electrical/mechanical systems, PLCs, refrigeration, or food manufacturing process controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience or 6 years without a diploma.
• Experience in refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, or food manufacturing process controls.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and control system diagrams and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency, including maintenance management systems and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment to maximize uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment overhauls, and system improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
• Install and maintain control systems, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and provide technical support to resolve production and operational challenges.
• Operate maintenance tools, lifts, and material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work order documentation within maintenance management systems.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
