Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Carlisle, PA is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Leader to guide the Maintenance Department, uphold safety/quality, and support the department leader by directing mechanics, overseeing mid-size capital projects, and ensuring preventive maintenance runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include executing PM programs, supervising the team, improving maintenance KPIs, ensuring compliance with OSHA/EPA/FDA, and training staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; PLC knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for bakery equipment.
• Plan and direct work by Mechanics and oversee PM activities.
• Provide coverage for Maintenance Leader and offer technical support.
• Monitor KPIs and PM system reports to drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and FDA requirements.
