Joseph's Bakery is seeking reliable Machine Operators to join our Production team in Lawrence, MA. The role requires setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to meet quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on position is ideal for mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and dependable individuals committed to producing high-quality products. Relocation is not offered, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are required.
• Able to read, write, and follow basic instructions and production processes.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, clean, and prepare production equipment for operation.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure efficient production and product quality.
• Feed raw materials and components into semi‑automated production equipment.
• Inspect products using measuring tools and visual inspections to identify defects or machine‑related issues.
• Perform routine machine checks to ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues that do not require Maintenance or Engineering support.
• Communicate with upstream production employees to ensure consistent product flow.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Management teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records, including approved and defective products.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve technical knowledge and job skills.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all company policies and production procedures, including GMPs, HACCP, and Food Safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
