Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Machine Operator in Roanoke, VA to join the production team and help deliver high-quality baked goods.

As an entry-level role, you will safely operate machinery, package products, mix ingredients, and move materials while adhering to GMP and food safety standards. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working nights, weekends, and holidays on a 2pm–10:30pm shift with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 1–3 years of prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work nights, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-powered machinery safely and consistently.
• Package products and mix ingredients as required.
• Move and stack materials and equipment used in production.
• Examine and reject products that do not meet specifications and address issues to reduce waste.
