Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an inviting environment for customers and answer questions about bakery products.
• Know products well and suggest items to customers.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of bakery specials.
• Provide fresh products and accurate portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Operate bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Follow food safety regulations and temperature logs.
• Maintain labeling, stocking, and inventory of bakery merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product orders/shipping to the manager.
