Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department stocked and appealing; smiles and greets customers and answers questions.
• Takes customer orders over the phone or in person with a pleasant attitude.
• Sets up special-order tables during peak hours and builds displays as needed.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh, properly priced, and labeled with correct signage.
• May assist with production of breads and pastries; follows production logs and recipes.
• Maintains sanitation and clean work areas; follows health and OSHA guidelines.
• Assists with receiving/deliveries and other duties as trained.
• Helps minimize shrink and report shortages or overages to management.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department operation.
• Uses provided PPE as required.
