Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department well stocked and appealing to meet customer demand. Smiles and greets customers, makes suggestions, answers questions about products.
• Takes customer orders over the phone or in person at the store with a pleasant and positive attitude. Determines what the customer is looking for in terms of size, flavor, and appearance.
• Sets up special-order tables during peak hours and sets bakery cases and builds displays. May write on cakes.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh and properly priced with correct signage. Handles spoiled/damaged product per procedures and removes non-saleable items.
