Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an inviting environment for customers by answering questions about products in the department and store.
• Gain knowledge of department products to respond to questions and recommend items.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery specials.
• Provide customers with fresh, correctly portioned products to minimize shrink.
• Recommend bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cook instructions.
• Measure and mix ingredients with appropriate utensils.
• Label, stock and inventory merchandise.
