Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or trade school preferred.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in manufacturing or bakery environments.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS and inventory control systems.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, boiler, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on bakery equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and implement permanent solutions to reduce downtime.
• Use CMMS to document repairs, manage work orders and track parts.
• Collaborate with Maintenance & Production shift leaders for smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and participate in training initiatives.
