Job summary

AMF Bakery Systems is seeking a Field Technician – Installation to perform mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning of AMF equipment at customer sites. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years field service in food/bakery or packaging.
• 5 years electrical/mechanical experience in automated equipment.
• Willing to travel 75% in NA and international.
• Understanding of Rockwell/Siemens PLCs and related software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning of AMF equipment.
• Conduct inspections, repairs and maintenance of existing equipment.
• Prepare and execute installation work with pre/post meetings and reporting.
• Provide feedback on project action lists using prescribed tools.
• Submit time/expense reports via assigned systems.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers and leads; ensure clear communication.
• Provide basic training to customer personnel on AMF equipment use and maintenance.
• Offer feedback to resolve technical or quality issues and suggest improvements.
• Assist 1st Line Support to resolve customer issues as needed.
• Advise customers on parts, upgrades, and additional offerings.
