H&S Family of Bakeries in Middletown Township, PA, is hiring a Loader to support our Distribution team. You will load/unload bakery products, prepare items for dispatch, and perform inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Count and perform basic math.
• Familiarity with basic computer software, particularly spreadsheet tools.
• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role, warehouse settings preferred.
• Flexible availability, with the willingness to work various shifts in support of our 5-day-a-week operation's needs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Select and prepare products for dispatch to align with route schedules.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
• Complete paperwork (load sheets, block sheets) accurately.
• Perform trailer checks and report issues to the department manager.
• Notify supervisors of floor inventory of empty trays and equipment.
• Maintain efficiency and precision in allocating products for routes.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and follow safety/hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Operate and maintain company equipment, including forklifts.
