Job summary

H&S Family of Bakeries is seeking a Loader to support our Distribution team. The role involves loading/unloading bakery items, preparing products for dispatch, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

You will also handle paperwork, perform trailer checks, and coordinate with route drivers. Candidates should be 18+, comfortable with basic math, and capable of working flexible shifts in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Count and perform basic math.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.
• Familiarity with basic computer software, particularly spreadsheet tools, for effective inventory management is highly desired.
• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role, warehouse settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products and bakery items, ensuring safe handling and preventing damage.
• Select and prepare products for dispatch to align with route drivers' schedules.
• Perform inventory counts and contribute to accurate tracking of stock.
• Complete load sheets and related paperwork with accuracy and neatness.
• Conduct trailer checks and report findings to the department manager.
• Inform supervisors about floor inventory of empty trays and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area and operate company equipment including forklifts.
