Job summary

Whole Foods Market Irvine is seeking a friendly Retail Team Member to support the Bakery team by receiving and preparing products, stocking shelves, and delivering excellent customer service in line with WFM standards.

You will handle opening/closing duties, maintain clean displays, assist with sampling, and ensure safe, compliant store operations while contributing to a positive shopping environment for customers and Team Members alike.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing displays by front-facing, cleaning, stocking, and rotating products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leads.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps areas full and tidy.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures accurate signage.
