Job summary

Whole Foods Market Irvine seeks a Bakery Team Member to support receiving and preparing product, maintain the bakery area and displays, and assist customers in line with WFM standards.

You will stock shelves, keep displays fresh, and help with sampling programs while delivering friendly, efficient service and upholding health and safety requirements. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is appreciated.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing 6–8 hours per day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean and well stocked, front-facing.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and leads.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Provide courteous, friendly service and answer phones.
