Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets in Visalia, CA is seeking a Bakery Dispatcher to keep bakery display cases stocked with a variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and cakes, and to help maintain cleanliness and safety.

You will assist customers in-store and by phone, merchandise and rotate products, prepare doughs and batters, monitor freshness, and support the bakery team while following company standards for quality and service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail setting with direct customer interaction.
• Knowledge of bakery methods and ingredients is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Smile, greet, and assist customers with bakery and cake orders, in-store and by phone.
• Merchandise, rotate, and stock products to keep bakery cases fresh and appealing.
• Prepare doughs, batters, and mixtures for breads, cakes, and pastries as directed.
• Follow safety programs and health code regulations; clean equipment and surfaces.
• Transport bakery products, monitor signage and product freshness, and assist bakery management as needed.
