Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Bakery Dispatcher to ensure display cases stay stocked with breads, pastries, and cakes. You will assist customers, prepare items, and uphold safety standards to create an inviting, organized bakery area.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills for in-store and phone orders.
• Knowledge of baking methods and ingredients.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards.
• Basic computer and math skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be able to work legally in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Smile, greet, and assist customers with bakery and cake orders, both in-store and by phone.
• Merchandise, rotate, and stock products to keep bakery cases fresh and appealing.
• Prepare doughs, batters, and mixtures for breads, cakes and pastries as directed.
• Follow Vallarta’s Bakery Safety Program and health code regulations; clean equipment and areas.
• Assist coworkers, train when needed, and communicate with bakery management about inventory.
• Transport bakery products to storage areas, stock shelves, and monitor signage and freshness.
• Follow company rules, safety guidelines, weights and measures laws, and labeling accuracy.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support bakery operations.
