Qualifications

• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates, with a positive attitude.
• Communicate department and job information to associates.
• Establish department goals and empower associates to meet targets.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume.
• Train associates and participate in performance appraisals.
• Create welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions.
• Inform customers of specials and offer samples.
• Review products for quality and freshness; take action as needed.
• Develop and implement a department business plan.
• Create and execute sales promotions with store management.
• Educate associates about promotions affecting the department.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for the sales/merchandising supervisor.
• Assist in budgeting, expense control, and P&L reviews.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags.
• Plan inventory and train staff on CAO processes.
• Ensure proper temperatures and maintain logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and report safety risks.
• Report safety or illegal activity.
• Comply with laws and company guidelines.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
• Ability to manage conflict professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with information.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed.
• Provide support for minors, those with special needs, and/or older adults.
