Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.
• Communicate department information to associates and leadership.
• Establish department performance goals and empower teams to meet targets.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume.
• Train associates and participate in performance reviews.
• Create welcoming environment and assist customers with questions on products.
• Inform customers of specials and offer samples to showcase items.
• Review product quality and freshness and take action as needed.
• Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve results.
• Create and execute promotions with store management.
• Educate associates about promotions and changes in-store.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for supervision of sales and merchandising.
• Implement the department’s promotional plans.
• Assist with store/department budgeting, expense control, and financial reporting.
• Schedule price changes and maintain shelf tags.
• Plan and organize inventory processes; monitor stocking conditions and CAO training.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and log readings.
• Reinforce safety programs and report safety risks, outages, or theft.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines; work under pressure when needed.
• Collaborate effectively to resolve customer and business issues.
• Support and interact with diverse customers including minors and seniors.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
