Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Wall Township, NJ is seeking a Bakery Team Member to assist with scheduling and supervising Team Members, and manage the day-to-day bakery operations, displays, and customer service. This role supports the Bakery Team Leader and Associate Team Leader to ensure smooth operation of the Bakery Team.

Responsibilities include training, inventory and display management, and upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Bakery Team Members.
• Trains Team Members with learning checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Opens and closes the department per procedures.
• Ensures breaks are given and communicates concerns to leadership.
• Maintains high standards of retail execution and teamwork.
• Addresses customer needs and directs staff accordingly.
• Provides timely performance evaluations and models company vision.
