Job summary

Responsibilities include training, performance evaluations, maintaining stock, and delivering outstanding customer service while adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
• Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
• Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Bakery Team Members.
• Works with Bakery Trainer to train Team Members to build a high-performance team.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using learning checklists and materials.
• Keeps all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters positive environment of teamwork and morale.
• Monitors customer flows and directs Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.
• Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Models WFM vision and goals.
