Festival Foods in Mauston, WI is seeking a Bakery & Deli Manager to lead day-to-day operations, coach staff, and optimize inventory and safety practices. You will partner with the Fresh Foods Sr. Manager to drive guest satisfaction and department performance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, vendor coordination, and ensuring department readiness while maintaining food safety standards and a positive team environment.

Qualificações

• High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of grocery, deli, bakery, retail or restaurant experience preferred (with two years in a key leadership position).
• Must have WI Certified Food Manager License (Festival will pay in order to get certified if not).

Responsabilidades

• Provide Leadership: Work alongside Bakery and Deli associates, giving clear direction and coaching on best practices.
• Execute Daily Operations: Ensure departments are stocked, organized, and meeting goals by leading associates and overseeing workflow.
• Create & Manage Work Schedules: Develop and approve weekly schedules for both departments to ensure adequate staffing.
• Manage Inventory & Orders: Balance orders, production, deliveries and coordinate with vendors to maintain inventory levels.
• Deliver Outstanding Guest Service: Lead by example in assisting guests with orders, special requests, and product recommendations.
• Maintain a Smooth Workflow: Troubleshoot issues and adjust plans to keep departments running efficiently.
• Ensure Department Readiness: Oversee sales floor and backstock conditions, pricing accuracy and merchandising.
• Operate & Maintain Equipment: Oversee use of ovens, slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment.
