Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Simpsonville, SC to lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will help supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure product quality while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 2+ years in retail grocery with supervisory experience, strong communication, and a focus on sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• Two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to take and give direction in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain sanitation in the department.
• Able to operate and use bakery equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of Bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays to attract customers.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure product quality.
• Ensure excellent customer service and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment as required.
• Support a fast-paced environment while maintaining standards.
