Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED with related bakery experience.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and develop bakery partners; plan and direct work; evaluate performance.
• Review historical data to predict sales from ads and promotions; manage inventory to ensure in-stock levels.
• Review profit/loss, sales, shrink, and labor data; report issues to upper management.
• Check inventory on trucks, unload products, ensure accuracy of inventory and paperwork.
• Be accountable for bakery sales, labor, and profitability objectives.
• Enforce quality control and food safety; inspect baked goods for quality and rotate stock.
• Plan work priorities and use standard procedures to guide department personnel.
• Assist with all bakery production aspects including packaging, labeling, catering, and delivery.
• Decorate baked goods and merchandise displays to promote themes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Provide friendly customer service by greeting and answering questions.
