The Fresh Market is seeking a Bakery Department Lead in Hingham, MA. You will support the Bakery Department Manager, lead a team with care, and ensure every guest experiences exceptional hospitality and looks inviting.

You’ll monitor schedules, help manage inventory, coach staff, and step in as acting manager when needed, all while delivering the store’s commitment to excellence and teamwork. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure smooth operations, uphold quality standards, and contribute

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or business.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Ability to deliver exceptional guest experience while meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, minimize shrink, and support ordering processes.
• Act as a resource for team members and guide in manager’s absence.
• Model and coach Impeccable Hospitality by engaging guests.
• Help implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales.
• Analyze department financial and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with department leaders to drive store success.
• Use available technology to perform tasks.
