Job summary

Village Bread Inc in California is hiring a Bakery Delivery & Support role. This hands-on position includes local deliveries, helping customers, and supporting the day-to-day bakery operations.

You will prepare and deliver wholesale orders, pick up bakery supplies, assist in the retail bakery, slice and package products, and keep inventory organized. You’ll also enter weekly orders using a tablet and spreadsheets and pitch in wherever needed to keep the bakery running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable lifting bakery products and supplies
• Comfortable using a tablet and basic spreadsheet software
• Food service, delivery, retail, warehouse, or production experience preferred, but not a deal breaker

Job description

Now Hiring: Bakery Delivery & Support

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our bakery team. This is a hands‑on position that includes local deliveries, helping customers, and supporting the day‑to‑day work of our bakery.

Pay: Starting at 20–$21/hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

• Tuesday–Friday: 9am–2pm
• Saturday: 6am–2pm

Approximately 30 hours per week to start, with opportunities for additional hours and a full‑time schedule based on business needs and performance.

The job includes:
