City Bakery in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our bakery team and deliver fresh bread to cafes and wholesale customers. You will work with a delivery team to ensure timely, safe, and courteous service, loading, transporting, and placing products for opening daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have clean, valid NC driver’s license.
• Bakery or food production experience preferred; training provided.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assists packager with organizing deliveries
• Loads van with product according to delivery schedule
• Operates delivery vehicles in a safe and courteous manner at all times
• Transports products to our cafes and assists with product placement to ensure smooth opening process
• Delivers product to wholesale customers adhering to delivery schedule and desired delivery time frame
• Collects signed invoices and payments from customers
• Returns all bakery trays and paperwork at end of shift
• Completes all cleaning sidework
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Reports To: Production Manager, Delivery Manager

Shifts: Early mornings. PT or FT.

The Role:

As a Delivery Driver, you will play an integral role in creating the heart and soul of our bakery: delivering great craft bread. This position is perfect for someone who loves to work independently, but is also passionate about contributing to a collaborative and creative environment. You’ll work alongside our talented delivery team to ensure that each loaf, baguette, and roll gets delivered in a safe, friendly, timely manner.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
