Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced store leader to plan, direct and supervise team members across departments, mentoring staff and driving customer service and sales while maintaining Meijer standards. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; also customer service and product flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information and use it to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day operations within various departments of the store.
• Mentors and coaches team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Manages staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning with development paths for team members.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Ensures the team is trained and adheres to company standards.
• Maintains a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
