Job summary

Fred Meyer, a Kroger family company, is seeking a part-time Grocery Clerk for the Bakery/Deli department in Beaverton, OR. You will assist customers, prepare bakery items, offer samples, and help maintain temperature logs and inventory.

You will work to ensure product freshness, correct portion sizes, and friendly service while following safety guidelines and store policies. Previous retail or deli experience is helpful, and food handler permits may be required.

Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Bakery/Deli Clerk should offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will be able to inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that they have ordered and the correct portion size to prevent shrink.
• Promote product knowledge and make suitable recommendations to customers.
