• Ensure fresh products and correct portion sizes; prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli/bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Operate bakery equipment (refrigerators, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Follow food temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Record ordering/shipping discrepancies to the manager.
• Maintain knowledge of products and answer customer questions.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
• Keep store temperatures in range and log temperature data.
• Promote a welcoming environment for customers.
