Job summary

C&K Market Inc. is seeking a Bakery/Deli Supervisor to lead a team of 7-30 staff. You will interview and hire applicants, order supplies, and maintain all paperwork and bookkeeping.

You will also perform a variety of food preparation tasks, stock shelves and assist customers with orders by phone, wrapping, weighing and pricing. You will receive payments and make change while ensuring cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Supervises and coordinates activities of 7-30 employees in Bakery/Deli area.
• Hires applicants, orders supplies, maintains paperwork and bookkeeping.
• Manages various food prep tasks and customer service duties.

Responsibilities

• Reports to store manager regularly.
• Meet or exceed budgeted sales, wage and gross profit objectives and standards.
• Hires, trains, counsels staff daily and ensures performance aligns with company standards.
• Directs daily procedures for handling and manufacturing product.
• Plans and controls product flow and assigns staff schedules.
• Ensures policies and reports are maintained and submitted properly.
• Receives products and checks for quality, invoicing, shelf life.
