Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (Required) or Equivalent (GED).
• 0-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day department operations in a retail store when the manager is absent.
• Order and maintain department inventory, minimize loss, and ensure freshness and quality.
• Validate received orders for amount, quality and weight.
• Supervise stocking, production, and tasks to maintain product quality and timing.
• Develop staff training, scheduling, and payroll expense planning.
• Attend daily huddles and meetings as required.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked department and follow safety guidelines.
