Responsibilities

• Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
• Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that they ordered and ensure correct portions.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to recipes and temperature logs.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Maintain proper temperatures and temperature logs.
• Assist customers and respond to questions about products.
