Job summary

Harps Bakery is seeking a Bakery/Deli Cook to support daily operations, prepare fresh bakery and deli items, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You will handle readiness, inventory, pricing, labeling, and department cleanliness, while delivering friendly, responsive service aligned with our SMILE program.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, physical ability, and a willingness to learn recipes and follow Harps’ policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Food Service Department Operations – oversee readiness, staffing, inventory, cleanliness, and safety.
• Replenishment & inventory procedures – orders, receiving, invoicing, returns, and back stock.
• Equipment and tools – follow proper equipment procedures and cleaning.
• Food production and processing – ensure proper packaging, weighing, labeling per regulations.
• Safety/quality orientation – emphasize high quality products and personal safety.
