The Kroger Co. is hiring a parttime Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) to deliver outstanding customer experiences in our Alaska location. You will prepare bakery items, offer samples, and inform customers of specials while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will also stock and label products, monitor temperatures, and assist in inventory control. Strong communication and basic math skills are essential, with a food handlers permit required after hiring.

Responsabilidades

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Bakery/Deli Clerk should offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to customers to meet their needs.
• Use bakery equipment according to company guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Check product quality and review sell by dates.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Help customers locate products and stay current with ads.
• Respond to questions and make product suggestions.
