Join Our Team as a Bakery/Deli Clerk at Kroger Mountain View Foods

We are seeking a dedicated Bakery/Deli Clerk to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, and upholding quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare bakery and deli items according to customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of specials.
• Ensure products are fresh, properly portioned, and correctly labeled.
• Use bakery equipment safely and follow food safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory, monitor stock conditions, and ensure proper temperatures.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and promote trust among staff.
• Support safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or accidents.

Qualifications:

• Customer service skills and effective communication.
• Basic math knowledge and ability to obtain a food handlers permit.
• Experience in bakery, deli, or retail settings is preferred but not required.
