- Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment.
- Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
- Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
- Provide fresh products in correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
- Recommend products to customers to meet their needs.
- Use bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
- Follow food safety and temperature logs.
- Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
- Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
- Check product quality and freshness, review "sell by" dates.
- Maintain store layout and locate products for customers.
- Stay current with ads and product knowledge.
- Maintain inventory and temperature logs.
