Responsibilities include:

- Recommending bakery or deli items to customers.
- Using equipment like refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
- Preparing foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
- Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients.
- Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients.
- Checking product quality and freshness.
- Properly using kitchen equipment.
- Labeling, stocking, and inventorying merchandise.
- Reporting discrepancies to the manager.
- Understanding store layout and locating products for customers.
- Staying current with ads and promotions.
- Maintaining product knowledge and responding to customer questions.
- Monitoring inventory and stocking conditions.
- Ensuring proper temperature maintenance and logs.
