We are seeking a dedicated Bakery/Deli Clerk to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Responsibilities

1. Prepare bakery and deli items according to customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
3. Inform customers about bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide fresh products in correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
5. Recommend products to meet customer needs.
6. Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens following company guidelines.
7. Follow food safety and temperature logs, and prepare foods according to instructions.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise accurately.
10. Check product quality, review "sell by" dates, and take appropriate action.
11. Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and log temperatures.
12. Stock and label merchandise, report discrepancies, and understand store layout.
13. Stay informed about current promotions and product knowledge.
14. Maintain inventory and address discrepancies.
15. Ensure safety procedures are followed, and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
16. Operate kitchen equipment safely and perform preventive maintenance.
17. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, and act with integrity.
18. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
