Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend bakery or deli items to customers.
• Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
• Follow food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory, label, and stock merchandise.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers, maintaining logs.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions and making suggestions.
• Practice safety and preventive maintenance, reporting issues promptly.
• Handle conflicts professionally, act with honesty and integrity, and assist diverse customer needs.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
